Five Weeks! Mini Polar Bears

I fell asleep last night early and took about a two hour nap while watching a movie. Because of that, I was up pretty late reading. Around 2:30 am I heard the coyotes sound off. Interesting part, I did not hear Roxy or Merlin bark or respond to this. I like to think it is because they know the difference between when there is truly a threat to our property vs the coyotes being coyotes in the distance. I did sleep better knowing all of our animals are safe with our two Maremma's out back and the puppies were in the barn. It does make me think about adding a third dog to our team!

The following day, Sunday, we did some weigh ins and played in the pasture.

Dark Green has grown from 4 pounds 8 ounces on January 4th to 9 pounds and 15 ounces on January 16. That's over 5 pounds in about 12 days. Needless to say, they play a lot and rest a lot!

Several of our pups already have registered homes, so that it very exciting for them as we get to learn their new owners and share information making sure they find the perfect homes.

We are excited to watch these pups grow!
